Caring for Vulnerable Children in Sri Lanka

Covid-19 Support

April 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic Appeal

Through our Covid-19 Appeal back in April 2020, we organised support to help poor families. Our older children assisited in making up dry-ration parcels which they also helped to distribaute. We were very encouraged by the response from friends and supporters of Still Waters , whose generous donations enabled us to raise over £10,000 and help many poor families, some of whom actually grew up at Still Waters. We have also been able to help poor families to pay utility bills, who otherwise would be facing disconnection of Water, Electricity and Gas. In the past we’ve also helped families in the Tangalle area with brick-built homes and sanitation projects, as well as with small start-up business opportunities. We are an inclusive charitable organisation, and our care and support is open to all, regardless of class, caste or race.
